- if you are lazy like me, you don't have to capitalize in ooc.
- avatars! we have a bunch of defaults for you to use (they are the breed of dog) or you can make your own. They can be 150x300 (150 pixels wide, 300 pixels tall). However, in order for them to work you need to send them to a staff member. After that, they'll be available to you under the drop down list in your profile for 'default' avatars. Please use a free image hosting site like photobucket for this. Do not use tinypic. Also, when naming your avatars, name them something like yournameav, yournameavatar, or yourname. <3

- Seeing as this is a literate to literate-advanced site, fluency in English would be smashing and proper grammar and spelling would be just phenomenal.
- we strive for quality, not quantity. i won't throw a fit for a hundred word post if you are descriptive. i will throw a fit for a hundred word post that says, "he did this, she did that. he said this, she turned. he went after her." we aren't first graders learning how to write a paragraph here. we are most likely junior high or high school and up.

- i will look over each application personally. if there is even something that isn't realistic, then i will have you change it. sorry. if you don't learn what's realistic or not, then you'll never bother to learn. (it's actually not that bad. It's not like, AOIFJAOWIEJF THIS CANT BE RIGHT BECAUSE ITS NOT MIXED WITH THIS AOWIEFJAWOIF and such. no, just, 'oh, this coat colour will work' or 'these eyes don't work with this breed(s).' nothing major(:
- i don't want to hear the spiel about dogs not being able to talk. i know this. it's called personification, people, and imagination. lots and lots of imagination.
- ...please don't start start a fight just to fight. there has to be a reason. food, something done that pissed the other off, mates, etc. just don't be like, HEY YOU. IM GOING TO FIGHT YOU.
- all fights must be approved by an admin. that admin will then judge the fight to see if it is fought fairly. yes, there can be ganging up, because it's not all going to be a bed of roses. but unless both roleplayers agree, one cannot die, and one can't dodge every attack.
- in fights, you will get two dodges. that's it. two. you also get three attacks. this is the general rule unless both players have agreed otherwise (different number of dodges/attacks.)
- for fights again, don't choose if it hurts them and how bad. (example, Player A: With claws outstretched, he sliced (Player b's character's name)'s cheek and almost immediately blood welled up and started to dribble down his fur.)

- cussing is allowed. a character is a character.
- liquid time is permitted. there is a maximum of five different threads for one character.
- no graphic breeding!
- no breeding until the age of two, although most likely they will not breed until they are four to five.
ACTIVITY, ETC.
- No spamming, impersonating (except in friendly, fun-loving ways), mary-sues, gary-sues, sparkle dogs, racism, power-playing, god-modding, flaming, sexism, one-liners, cussing, mature posts, and any other type of behavior frowned upon by the public will not be allowed here. You will get one warning, and one warning only unless if it was accidental. Upon second offense, you will be suspended, ranging from twenty-four hours to three days depending on the severity. If you decide to repeat it again, you will be IP banned. These are small precautions to keep this site running smoothly.
- I’m not asking you to get on every day and post 100 posts. But if you could pop in once a week and post a couple posts, or if you're too buys for an entire roleplay but have enough time for small talk, just say hey in the bark box. (:
- Please please please check announcements regularly. Also, if you ever have plot ideas or graphics for skins and whatnot, feel free to pm me about it. We love contribution~
TIME, WEATHER, ETC.
- A year in game is eight weeks real time.
- Two weeks real time is one season or three months game time.
- There could be a natural disaster. If there is, another natural disaster will not occur for a whole season. example: natural disaster in spring. there will be no chance for a natural disaster until fall. feel free to PM me for clarification and further details if you would like.
- A dog's average gestation period is 5 months, which is 20 days game time. So 20 days after your lovelies have bred (the actual thread, not when it was 'approved') you can have your pups! If you want to have them later than 20 days, that's fine. That's just the minimum wait time. (:
SCRAPS
- scraps are the money on this site. you get one scrap every time you post. you can gain scraps for winning contests. you spend scraps in the store.

- you can buy/sell graphics with scraps. you can buy/sell a character with scraps. you can do anything you want with your scraps, except just give it to another player.
